Cops with doughnuts
I was walking down Queen St today, and happened to notice two cops walking to their car with a box of Dunkin’ Donuts. It’s one of those things that shouldn’t really be funny, but it totally was. I do have to ask - what is with the cops and doughnuts association? I’ve never seen a cop eating one in my life! I wonder if police graduates decide that once they’re in uniform, doughnuts will always be off limits. Although I don’t know why they’d care. If you want a doughnut, you want a doughnut. Even if people do laugh heartily as you walk past clutching one in your hand.
I don’t really like doughnuts. Unless they’re homemade cinnamon ones. I like those.

It’s hard *not* to find humour when you see something or someone filling a popular stereotype. I consider it nature’s cue to laugh.

It’s such a stereotype seeing cops eating those doughnuts, especially the classic ones ala Krispy Kreme. However, I’ve never actually seen a cop eat a doughnut and I bet I would have also laughed if I’ve seen such scene.

OMG How can you *not* like donuts? *is addicted*
I really don’t know what the deal with the cops and donuts is — but I know that places like Dunkin’ Donuts offer them discounts and everything! Crazy.

Hehe, a few months ago I drove by a Dunkin Donuts with four squad cars in the parking lot. I wasn’t sure if they were solving a robbery or picking up yummies, but it was a good laugh either way.
The Cinnabon Donut Holes and Powdered Sugar Donut Holes are the BEST! But I always seem to be wearing a white shirt when I buy them. =\
